AI Search · GEO · AEO
Get found inside the AI answers.
Your customers increasingly ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google's AI Overviews — not just the search box. We make sure the answer includes you.
What Google itself says
On AI search, skip the vendors. Read Google's own text first.
GEO is not a separate product to buy
Google's own guide, verbatim: 「optimizing for generative AI search is optimizing for the search experience, and thus still SEO」. The same solid work that ranks you on Google is what gets you cited by AI.
Magic files like llms.txt — Google says it ignores them
The same guide lists 「creating unnecessary AI text files (like llms.txt)」 and chasing inauthentic mentions under things you do not need. If someone sells you a file that promises AI answers, Google's own documentation is the rebuttal.
Results have an official dashboard, not a sales deck
Google ships a Generative AI performance report inside Search Console. How your content shows up in AI features is data you can open yourself. Every number in our monthly report reconciles against your own console.
All three come from one document: Google's Guide to Optimizing for Generative AI Features on Google Search (updated 10 Jul 2026 — still the stated position when we re-checked on 18 Aug 2026).
What we do
The work that gets you into the answer.
Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)
We structure your content so AI can extract it as the direct answer — clear headings, definitions, and FAQs that assistants quote.
Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)
We make you a trusted source AI cites in long-form answers and Google AI Overviews — the right entities, schema, and authority signals.
Entity & knowledge graph
Consistent structured data (Organization, Service, FAQ, Reviews) so machines understand who you are and what you do.
Source authority
The credible mentions, reviews, and citations that make AI confident enough to recommend you.
What lands on your desk
Four things you can hold us to.
A baseline audit, with the prompts written down
We agree the exact questions your customers would ask an AI, then run them across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews. You get what came back, which competitors appeared instead of you, and the date it was taken.
The number of visits AI actually sent you
Pulled from your own Google Analytics, separated from search and social, with the total beside it so the percentage means something. Most months this number is small. We report it either way.
The machine-readable layer, checked not claimed
Crawler access, structured data and entity consistency — each one verifiable by you in a browser. We tell you which parts Google has publicly said it ignores, rather than billing for them quietly.
A re-test on a date fixed in advance
Set when we start, not after the results are in. If the answer is still zero mentions, you get told that plainly along with what we would change next.
What is not on that list is a promise that an AI will name you. Nobody controls that — answers move with the question, the country, the account and the model version. We tested our own site the same way and published what came back, including the part that does not flatter us.
How not to buy air
Some packages print 「GEO」 as a checkbox.
Three questions to ask anyone. Including us.
“What exactly will your GEO change on my website?”
By Google's definition this work is solid SEO: structured data, clear facts, crawlable pages. If the answer names no concrete changes, that line item is printing cost.
“Do you use tactics Google says it ignores?”
Files like llms.txt sit on Google's official do-not-need list. We once recommended that file ourselves — then checked, and published the correction. The correction is still on our blog.
“Where do I verify the results myself?”
The answer should be your own Search Console, not their slide deck. The Generative AI performance report is Google's own dashboard. If the monthly report doesn't reconcile with your console, change vendors.
Our own field data
This page is itself being found through AI search terms.
Per Google Search Console (domain property, pulled 23 Jul 2026), this site appeared in results for 20+ AI-search-related queries over 28 days — 「ai seo company kl」, 「gemini aeo service」, 「generative engine optimization」 among them — and the site's only non-brand click landed on this very service page.
Someone searched the exact phrase 「generative engine optimization」 and we appeared at position 9, on a site less than two weeks old. This lane is not crowded yet. The same data ships in every monthly report, method and source included.
The method, in the open
The full GEO checklist we ran on our own site — schema, identity consistency, answer-first content, including the step we later corrected — is published in full. Following it costs you nothing:
How to Appear on ChatGPT: Our Own GEO Checklist →GEO doesn't replace SEO — it extends it. AI engines read the live web, so the same strong foundations that rank you on Google also get you cited by AI. We build both, together.
